🌟 Meet Chrislyn Shuford! 🌟
We're thrilled to celebrate Chrislyn Shuford's spring graduation with her M. Ed. in Education Leadership-Higher Education concentration. Chrislyn began learning to teach at ETSU and soon discovered a passion for administration.
"ETSU has a piece of my heart, if not my whole heart," she shared. Reflecting on her time at ETSU, Chrislyn believes the university opened doors that might not have opened elsewhere, adding, "It makes you feel like you're exactly where you're supposed to be."
Chrislyn hopes to stay at East Tennessee State University and pursue her Ed. D., continuing her journey in higher education leadership.
Congratulations, Chrislyn! 💙 💛

Today, there are 8 instruments in the woodwind section in most symphony orchestras around the world: The Piccolo, The Flute, The Oboe, The English Horn, The Clarinet, The Bass Clarinet, The Bassoon, and The Contrabassoon.

According to Roman Catholics Peter was the first Pope. The Protestant tradition (which represents nearly half of Christians) rejects this. Protestants do not believe the papacy existed during Peter’s lifetime nor did it exist in the first centuries of the Christian Era.

The design and size of the baptismal font in Dura-Europos suggest that it was used for full immersion baptisms, where the candidate would have been fully submerged in the water. The shape of the font and the steps leading down into it indicate that it was designed to facilitate this immersion ritual.

I m an Spanish architect staying in Singapore. I really enjoyed your classes. For a European it is embarrassing to see that the teaching of classic art and architecture is a million times better in Tenessee than in Madrid which is 1000 times closer to Rome and has roman ruins one hour away from the school building.

Hmmmm. This guy has lots of nitty-gritty real life information about JFK, not just the worshipful nostalgia we hear about him. A real scholar. 52:26 As I understand it, Ike didn't give the landing of the Cuban exiles' forces the green light because he insisted that the Anti-Castro expatriates living abroad needed to create a government in exile that they could all gather round and they're weren't willing or able to do that.

Greetings your content is fascinating and I too like Sigmund Freud I'm not a psychologist or a scientist but I for some reason have a natural understanding of human psychology I wouldn't say I have a PhD I would really like to know why it is that some people are born with higher intuition and awareness in certain areas in life like for example myself having this natural profound understanding of psychology and the following is my very basic analysis of Donald Trump using interviews and video footage using my own technique of decoding his language using these principles I do a deep psychoanalysis of Donald Trump using the following principles. Unconscious Motivation Awareness of Unconscious Motivations Construction of Reality Incorporation of Humanistic and Existential Approaches The psychoanalysis conducted is rooted in an intricate synthesis of interviews and public speeches, wherein Donald Trump's language serves as the primary conduit for deciphering his psyche. Through the lens of psychoanalytic principles, particularly unconscious motivation, the analysis seeks to unearth latent desires and fears that subtly manifest in Trump's linguistic expressions. By meticulously dissecting his choice of words, tone, and rhetorical patterns, we endeavor to reveal subconscious drives, such as the quest for power, recognition, and the underlying fear of inadequacy. Furthermore, the analysis delves into Trump's awareness, or lack thereof, of these unconscious motivations. His communication style, characterized by a conspicuous absence of introspection, sheds light on a limited acknowledgment of inner conflicts or vulnerabilities. Instead, Trump projects an image of unassailable confidence, deflecting any semblance of self-doubt. This dearth of self-awareness impedes a deeper understanding of his unconscious drives, perpetuating a cycle of behavior driven by subconscious impulses. Confirmation bias, another pivotal concept in psychoanalysis, emerges prominently in Trump's discourse. He selectively interprets events to align with preexisting beliefs, dismissing criticism and surrounding himself with like-minded individuals who reinforce his worldview. This cognitive bias shields him from confronting uncomfortable truths about his motivations, perpetuating a self-reinforcing cycle of confirmation and reinforcement. Moreover, Trump's construction of reality reflects a transactional and self-referential worldview. Every interaction is perceived through the prism of negotiation and personal gain, devoid of nuance or empathy for broader societal dynamics. His reality revolves around himself, with little regard for collective well-being or existential contemplation of life's purpose beyond material acquisitions and legacy. Incorporating elements of humanistic and existential approaches, the analysis contextualizes Trump's linguistic expressions within broader philosophical paradigms. While aspects of self-actualization and existential reflection occasionally surface in his discourse, they are predominantly overshadowed by a fixation on external validation and tangible achievements. Trump's communication style, thus, epitomizes a complex interplay of conscious and unconscious forces, encapsulating a narrative of power, recognition, and existential angst within the confines of linguistic expression. THE FOLLOWING IS MY PSYCHOANALYSIS OF DONALD TRUMP, so without further ado I proffer an erudite examination grounded upon discernible patterns and publicly available footage, interviews and speeches. Donald Trump's linguistic expressions unveil a fervent yearning for supremacy, acknowledgment, and affirmation, indicative of an unconscious compulsion towards dominion and preeminence. Through his penchant for employing superlatives such as "the best," "tremendous," and "unbelievable," Trump unwittingly betrays an underlying quest for ascendancy, likely stemming from formative experiences where he may have felt marginalized or undervalued. Beneath the veneer of confidence lies a deep-seated dread of inadequacy, compelling Trump to relentlessly pursue success and affluence as a shield against vulnerability. His discourse often seeks to mask any perceived deficiencies by accentuating accomplishments and external commendation. Yet, his communication style conspicuously lacks introspection, as Trump seldom acknowledges inner turmoil or uncertainties, projecting an aura of unwavering assurance while shunning any admission of self-doubt. Trump's cognitive framework is notably entrenched in a transactional paradigm, wherein every interaction is perceived through the prism of negotiation and zero-sum outcomes. Loyalty is richly rewarded, dissent harshly punished, with little room for nuanced understanding or empathetic consideration of broader societal dynamics. Moreover, his reality is conspicuously self-referential, orbiting around his persona while disregarding communal welfare or societal intricacies. Delving into the realms of humanistic and existential philosophies, Trump's quest for self-actualization appears externally driven, fixated on material acquisitions and triumphs rather than inner growth or empathetic resonance with others' experiences. Likewise, his existential orientation towards meaning and purpose appears tethered to tangible achievements and legacy, eschewing profound existential contemplation. Donald Trump's linguistic repertoire epitomizes a nuanced interplay of conscious and subconscious influences, delineating a narrative underscored by the pursuit of power, acknowledgment, and the perennial specter of inadequacy. His aversion to introspection, transactional worldview, and self-centric reality construct serve as formidable barriers to deeper self-understanding. While glimpses of humanistic and existential tenets may occasionally surface, Trump's actions frequently deviate from the essence of these philosophical paradigms. Human beings think and behave based on socially engineered conditioned patterns of thought and behavior with a narrow band of mental frequencies. People are largely unconscious of their own mentality because most people operate habitually and unconsciously according to programs inherited from family and influenced by friends, media, environment, education, and geographical location. Who they think they are is actually a set of programs running in a predictable order according to different cues and stimuli that create particular responses. This pattern plays out in self-reinforcing feedback loops. Many people believe that this pre-recorded feedback loop is who they are and what reality is. This creates a theater of events populated by programmed automatons who are run by a system of which they are largely unconscious. People don't understand that there physiological applications that act as coded keys for the development of transcendental thought forms that surpass the limitations of our present knowledge structures. To transcend is to go beyond our conditioned state of being. In other words one must delve into the intricacies of conditioned cognitive and behavioral paradigms, ensnared within a restricted spectrum of cognitive frequencies. The majority of individuals traverse existence with an automated and unconscious modus operandi, dictated by ancestral legacies and external influences encompassing familial, societal, and environmental spheres, compounded by educational indoctrination and geographic determinants. Their perceived identity, a mere amalgamation of preordained algorithms, unfolds in a predetermined sequence orchestrated by diverse stimuli, engendering specific reactions. This cyclic phenomenon perpetuates through self-reinforcing feedback mechanisms, wherein many erroneously construe this iterative loop as their essence and reality itself. Thus, a theatrical panorama emerges, populated by programmed entities, unwittingly manipulated by an overarching system. In the realm of intellectual discourse, there exist encoded formulas facilitating the inception of transcendental ideations, exceeding the confines of contemporary epistemological frameworks. To transcend signifies a departure from our entrenched state of conditioned existence, unlocking realms beyond the customary boundaries of perception. We are dealing with the paradox of communicating the unknown, to a conscious that is so unconscious, that it does not know, that it does not know, and doesn't even know that it knows what it knows. So if you do not know that you do no know, then it hard to present something new, therefore an initiation must occur, a rite of passage that transports a person from one state of being to another. This teaches one the limits of one's own mind, and only then can one transcend their conditioned state of being.
